What is Cornea?
Cornea is a transparent tissue existing in frontal part of the eye, and it is the most important refractive lens of the eye. Transparency of cornea may be spoiled by several diseases. These diseases may be inborn, genetic and microbial. Diseases such as keratoconus might change the form of cornea and make a corneal transplantation essential. Cornea, located in frontal part of the eye, having a task of focusing the light and protecting the eye from external factors, also playing a big role in seeing function, is a curved transparent tissue of the eye.
