What is Glaucoma (High Eye Pressure)?

Glaucoma is a sneaky disease that may cause a visual loss unless it is diagnosed and treated earlier. Therefore, eye pressure should be checked by having a regular optalmological examination in every year. Glaucoma is a term used for a series of circumstances emerging as optic nerve damage. The main reason of glaucoma is height of pressure in the eye. In the case of optic nerve circulation corrupted, tissue weakness and structural imperfection observed, optic nerve may become more sensitive to the pressure, and a damage may occur without the pressure gets higher.
